Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds for services provided by Audio System Guy (Beatscape Records), operated by Krishanu Dutta.

1. General Refund Policy

  • All sales are final once work has commenced or sessions have been delivered
  • Deposits and advance payments are non-refundable unless otherwise specified
  • Refunds are processed within 7-14 business days of approval
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the transaction

2. Music Production Services

Custom Music Production

  • 50% deposit required to begin work - non-refundable
  • Remaining 50% due upon completion - non-refundable once final files are delivered
  • If project is cancelled before work begins, full refund minus processing fees (3-5%)
  • If project is cancelled after work has started, no refund on deposit

Mixing & Mastering

  • Payment required upfront - refundable if cancelled within 24 hours before work begins
  • No refunds once work has commenced
  • Unlimited revisions included within agreed scope

3. Consultation Services

1-on-1 Consultations

  • Payment required at time of booking
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before scheduled session
  • Cancellations within 24 hours: 50% refund
  • No-shows or same-day cancellations: No refund
  • Rescheduling allowed up to 2 times without penalty

Group Sessions & Workshops

  • Cancellations 7+ days before: Full refund minus processing fees
  • Cancellations 3-6 days before: 50% refund
  • Cancellations within 48 hours: No refund
  • Session recordings provided if available

4. Commercial Services

Jingles & Brand Music

  • 25% deposit to begin concept development - non-refundable
  • 75% due upon approval of final concept - non-refundable once delivered
  • Up to 3 revisions included in original price
  • Additional revisions charged separately

5. Force Majeure

In cases of illness, technical failures, or other circumstances beyond our control that prevent service delivery, we will:

  • Reschedule sessions at no additional cost
  • Provide alternative delivery methods when possible
  • Offer partial or full refunds on a case-by-case basis

6. Quality Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you're not satisfied with the final deliverable and it doesn't meet the agreed specifications:

  • We'll work with you to address concerns within the revision scope
  • Additional revisions may be provided at no cost for legitimate quality issues
  • In rare cases of fundamental dissatisfaction, partial refunds may be considered

  3. Provide reason for refund request
  4. Allow 3-5 business days for review
  5. Approved refunds processed within 7-14 business days
